Exposed Aggregate

An exposed aggregate finish offers numerous advantages. And here at Prostar Concrete we are finding creative ways to take exposed aggregate to a new level. When the aggregate or rock in the concrete is exposed it gives a pebbly surface that is slip resistant, durable and decorative. Exposed aggregate finishes can be used for an entire paved area, walls or as a border. It is ideal for pool decks as well as driveways and patios. Combining different colors and textures with the aggregate finish greatly enhances the beauty of the finished product. Exposed aggregate is currently our most popular choice of finish.

Stamped Concrete

Stamped concrete, often called textured or imprinted concrete, is concrete that replicates stones such as slate and flagstone, tile, brick and even wood. With an extensive choice of colors and patterns stamped concrete is ideal for beautifying pool decks, driveways, entries, courtyards, and patios. Stamped concrete is definitely a great choice for that pristine look.

Broom Finish Concrete

(Plain) Broom Finish Concrete is brushed with a broom before the concrete has hardened to improve its surface or to create a distinctive texture. The broom finish promotes good traction and can enhance the aesthetic appeal of the surface. After fully cured and dry the finished product promotes a white color finish. It is the most traditional method of finishing concrete and the most economic cost choice.

Smooth Finish Concrete

Smooth or hard troweled concrete is used primarily on interior floors. We can make your concrete flat and smooth for carpet or hardwood flooring, or hard polished for a beautiful architectural finish. Garages and basement floors are the two most common applications for smooth concrete. Most homes today are designed with concrete interior floors. With its durability and versatility it can also be installed using a variety of colors and decorative elements to add to the uniqueness of custom homes.

Colored Concrete

This type of concrete finish is mixed with colored cement or to which pigment has been added during mixing. It can be used in all types of paving layouts and generally completed with a broom (brushed) finish for exterior applications and a smooth finish for interior. There are many colors to choose from, to compliment your project.
