(Plain) Broom Finish Concrete is brushed with a broom before the concrete has hardened to improve its surface or to create a distinctive texture. The broom finish promotes good traction and can enhance the aesthetic appeal of the surface. After fully cured and dry the finished product promotes a white color finish. It is the most traditional method of finishing concrete and the most economic cost choice.
Smooth or hard troweled concrete is used primarily on interior floors.
